Situated on the iconic Dorp Street in historic Stellenbosch, Rozenhof Villas is a private luxury residence that blends heritage with modern sophistication. We have two townhouses, with each villa apartment accommodating 3 Bedrooms (all en-suite), stocked pantry, breakfast essentials in the fridge, daily housekeeping and complimentary wines and MCC.
We ensure our guests experience the luxury of a top-rated hotel, combined with the comfort and warm warmth of feeling at home. We organize wine tours, shuttle transfers, and curated dining experiences with award-winning De Eetkamer chef, Marco Cardoso.
Essentially, Rozenhof Villas offers guests the comfort of feeling at home, combined with the features and service of a luxury hotel. Guests are welcomed into beautifully designed, art-inspired bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens with stocked pantries, and versatile spaces ideal for conferences, family stays, or peaceful getaways.
The building also holds great history: Rozenhof was built in 1937, designed by Stellenbosch town clerk Walther Blersch (1888–1971). It blends German Biedermeier architecture with Art Deco elements, drawing inspiration from the military hospital in Tübingen, Germany. The site originally housed Stellenbosch’s first jail, part of the courthouse. The jail was demolished in 1936 to make way for a women’s dormitory. In 1997, the building was converted into eleven private residential units, with a balcony added to the front façade.
